The Final Section C-5C Conclave
September 26-28 2008
The final Section C-5C Conclave is upon us and the Boone Trails Chapter would love to make a large showing at this historic event. For those who don't know, after this conclave, the lodges in the midwestern region will be re-alligned into different sections; thus making this C-5C conclave the last meeting of these specific lodges. The conclave will be held at Camp Joy near Carlyle, Illinois. The cost of the weekend before September 7 is $30 but after September 7 the cost increases to $37. The fee includes Friday night cracker barrel, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cracker barrel, Sunday breakfast, the conclave patch, and program materials. Scouts are in charge of working out tentage, whether it be with their respective troops or chapters. The Scouts are also in charge of finding adult leadership and representation for the conclave. Shawnee Lodge is limited to about 165 participants and registration will be on a first come, first served basis. As stated above however, Boone Trails Chapter would love to make a large showing in itself, so get yourself registered now! There will be ceremonial team competitions, dance competitions, training cells, exciting campfires, and much more! This is going to be the last and best C-5c Section Conclave yet; so send in your registration forms now! The registration form is available on the Lodge website.
