The Shawnee Lodge celebrated its 75th anniversary during the 2005
year. Besides the extra activities held in conjunction with the
Winter Banquet, Spring Conclave, summer camp, and Fall Reunion, there
were a few extra events. The lodge held the first ever chapter
versus chapter baseball game and it was fun. Though the 75th
Anniversary is over, the commemoration continues. The limited
edition patches are still available as well as the regular ones and
are available at lodge events. The movie above is also available on
DVD and includes a 75th Anniversary flap and rocker patches. The
information below describes more about the anniversary and the special
edition patches.
An anniversary lodge flap was designed to commemorate the diamond
jubilee of the lodge. The 2005 Spring Conclave, 2005 Fall Reunion, and
a rocker patch were designed to compliment the anniversary flap. The
pocket flap will be available at the lodge events - 2004 Winter
Banquet, 2005 Spring Conclave, 2005 Fall Reunion, and 2005 Winter
Banquet. Shawnee Lodge members with their ticket for each event may
purchase up to three anniversary flaps and rockers with the tear-off
anniversary tab on the event ticket. The anniversary pocket flap costs
$3.00 and the anniversary rocker costs $4.00. The flaps will not be
sold at the Council Service Center.
A special limited edition of the complete set - flap, rocker,
Spring Conclave, and Fall Reunion - is available for purchase at
Shawnee Lodge events or by mail. The special limited edition patch set
costs $60.00 and comes with a diamond border on all four of the
patches, an individual number, and a letter of authenticity. The
limited edition patch set is available for purchase at Shawnee Lodge
events or by mail. The sets may be purchased at the
MacArthur Service
Center only with advanced notice. Mailed orders will be sent to the
purchaser by certified or receipt verification required.
The proceeds of the special limited edition will be used for:
- Scholarships to send youth members of the Shawnee Lodge to
National Order of the Arrow Conferences
- Scholarships to send youth members of the Shawnee Lodge to the
Order of the Arrow Summer Camp
- 75th Anniversary activities and programs
The 75th anniversary limited patch set is available only to
Shawnee Lodge members up to May 1, 2005. After May 1, 2005 the limited
patch set is available to anyone. Patch sets will be sold on a first
come, first serve basis. Reorders will not be made of
limited edition patch set.

The 75th Anniversary
