OAzing Race I would like to thank each of you that came out last night to the OAzing Race, because of all of you, we had yet another amazing chapter meeting.
Please keep the Febuary Chapter Meeting on our calender, Feb 22 at St. Sabina, the same place as last year. this meeting will be amazing, with amazing food provided by our quartermasters. we will have attendace prizes, another great guest speaker, and the alwas amazing slideshow.
See you there! Your Chief, Tyler BCS Bash Keep both of this falls service project in mind, We will have a fun time with our fellow brothers, in service, and in fellowship. We will complete a service project for someone and then have a delicious lunch, and a fun game in the afternoon.
- Our first will be Dec 12-13, on friday we will work with the district popcorn chairmen to help sort out each individual units order, we will then head over to St. Ferdinad, and watch a movie. On Saturday we will load the orders into peoples cars and then have lunch and play a game.
Outstanding Arrowmen Highest Chapter Honor As always at our Febuary Chapter meeting we will honor some of our brothers who take an extra step in serving our chapter. The outstanding Arrowmen award is presented by the chapter to those brothers that are cheerefuly serving our chapter as a youth or adult. If you know a brother that is taking that extra step, please nominate them. We will have blank forms at the Nov Chapter meeting, every chairmen has some copies of the form, as well as the officers, and you can find it on the chapter website http://ns.ods.org Please take the time to honor those who trully exemplify our high ideas, the only requirement to be awarded is you have to be a member of the North Star chapter of Shawnee Lodge Order of the Arrow. Please turn in all forms to one of the four chapter officers, or chapter Advisor. Ceremonial Teams
We are in need of ceremonial team members. We would like more people in the following areas: Crossover, Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Four Winds. Crossover is the ceremony in which Cub Scouts become Boy Scouts. Ordeal is the OA inductive ceremony. Brotherhood is the ceremony in which Ordeal members become Brotherhood members. Four Winds is the ceremony to honor new Eagle Scouts. You must be a Brotherhood member to perform a Brotherhood ceremony. The meetings are on Monday nights at 7 at Parker Road Baptist Church.
