Events
Congratulations to Sam Picus and Larry Hendersen, the arrowmen from our chapter called out to recieve the Vigil Honor. We thank you for all your hard work in behalf of our order.

The next chapter event will be the February Banquet, which will be Fabruary 15th, 6:00, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. This will be our second chapter meeting, and also the recipients for the Jack J. Sophir Award will be presented. If you know an arrowman, either a scout or a scouter, who has performed above and beyond the call of duty in the chapter, fill out a nomination form and send it in by January 13th. If you need a form, please e-mail the chief.

The Blackberry hollow wervice project will be on March 24th. Please meet at 7:30 at the lot next to the Emerson center at Beaumont. Bring tools for weeding (especially loppers), lunch, and adults can bring their chainsaws. Gear will be packed in by the Ranger. Volunteers are allowed to stay the night if they do not wish to leave that day. Troops are encouraged to combine meals to save the limited space at the site. A BBQ grill will be brought in by the ranger.

I want this year to be just as fun for you as it already is for me, so send in your ideas or tell your Troop Rep. Please find what is right for you in the OA. Besides being on the Ceremonial, Camp Promotion, or Elangomat teams, you can also serve as an assistant to Andres Rodriguez, our Elangomat chairman, who is looking for two arrowmen interested in helping, to assist him with this essential program. Please contact the chief if you are interested in one of these two positions.

Yours in Service,
Thomas Van Horn, Pathfinder Chapter Chief 2011-2012
